Maybe those here who are more informed than I can tell me the significance of the numbers after the "Fok. DVII" that appears on the side of the fuselage?
The numbers there can be considered the aircraft serial. The first part of the serial is the number of a plane then after the "/" two last digits from the year the kite was made. In the particular case it is the plane number 4404 made in 1918.
