The other day, a Red Tail Hawk was in the neighborhood and came to rest in an old Douglas Fir near my porch. He was giving several Blue Jays the hard eyeball. The Blue Jays weren't liking it a bit!
This friendly little guy scared the crap out of my son Nick and I as we canoed back from the campground to Telegraph Cove
on Vancouver Island. He decided to hitch a ride and we did a quick get as low as possible to avoid tipping.
