If the Stirling is not selected (it's not relevant what is), how many more Flying boats Sunderlands etc., can Shorts build before they are co-opted to build the new (selected) bomber?
I have posted something similar elsewhere, just curious what comments I get here.
John, a great model builder BTW, find John's Mig-3 build over at this link,

suggested I do a build. He had no idea my model wasn't 1/32 or 1/48 scale and plastic...
Hi All,
This tread will be an ongoing one for a while. I hope to ressurect from time to time. My goal is to finish some of the kits of the so called "Shelf of Doom". Kits that were started, but some reason abandoned and never finished. So a few WWII aircraft types from my shelf of Doom will...

I am currently on hold in the latest GB (Mediterranean Theater of Operations) as I wait for a canopy replacement on my Fiat G.55S Silurante build. In the meantime, I thought I'd dip into my stash (meager as it is with 3 kits) and start on another project.
This will be a unique build for me...

Here's my finished build of the 1/72 HPM Sea Vixen FAW.2 in Fleet Air Arm 899 Squadron, HMS Eagle livery, circa 1969-1971.
Being an old HPM injection molded kit, this build needed a lot of TLC to get it together. Think old Airfix or Frog kits amount of effort. But despite all this, it...
Here's my humble build of the new tooling 1/72 Airfix Bristol Blenheim Mk1. A very lovely kit indeed with detailed sub-assemblies for the cockpit, engines, landing flaps, landing gears, weighted tires and an incredible bomb bay and mini bomb racks. Details that you only see on bigger and more...

Well here she is, Spitfire MkIX MA466 451 squadron RAAF, Corsica early 1944. Definitely not my best build but at least she looks like a Spitfire in a rather interesting...
Hello,
I don't know if it's the good place for this thread... :|
I found in my stock a Tamiya Kit, The bf 109E-4/7 Trop. 61063. Normally it was for build "White 12" flown by J. Muncheberg but I decided to build his FW 190A-2 w.nr.20209.
So, I would like to "transform" this E-4 kit in an E-7...
Hello to all,
I am a newbie from Canada. I have been an enthusiast of Scale Modeling for sometime, mostly tanks and AFV until I saw the build report of a Arado Ar 196 A-3.
I hope to learn more and hopefully build a kit.

G'day guys!
As some of us have talked about in PMs and on the 'Recent Purchases' thread, we have an idea to do an 'Out of Box' (OOB) Unofficial Group Build.
Aim is to have a 'fun build', for the regulars to take a break from the superdetailing, the rusty ones like myself to get the hand back...
Hi all,
Have been reading here for a year or so. As a kid I built my way through most of the aircraft section of the late seventies Airfix catalogue. Then 'grew out of it'. A few years ago casually looking in the hobby section of a local store came across the kits....it was an eye opener. I...

Hi All,
I bought a used Tamiya Dambuster/Grand slam kit (which included the Flightpath detail set)
Though I'd like to build a regular bomber BI/BIII from this kit.
My first impression is that the only real differences between the older kits (Dambuster/Regular Lancaster)
is the absence of...
