i am off work tomorrow so will look throught my spares box as i might have kept the Cannon from my kit, though you would have to scratch build the gondola as i used it with the 75mm from Terry's Dragon Ju88 kit.

if not i am sure i have the 30 mm cannon and gondola if you want to change subject !

yes mate the Gondola was open to eject the empty shell casing, got a pic somwhere, will dig it out.

Jim, Karl is of course correct, the gun pod was indeed open and the used shell casings were immediately ejected after firing. This is a BIG shell equivalent to a 3in cannon round. The cannon was fed by a circular drum magazine containing 12 rounds. Magazines were behind the pilot. Even the IS-2 Stalins were meat for this gun
