Before and after rudder pics. In cutting the rudder out, the gap at the rudder balance was too great and I resorted to adding some thin plastic card.
The molded trim actuator and the trim tab balance were removed and replaced with scratch built pieces. The trim balance is a piece of copper wire bent around a file handle, cut and hammered flat. Pieces of stretched sprue were then added at the attachyment points and another added at the bottom for the actuator. The rudder's a bit messy and will be cleaned up and primed.
