It crossed my mind that if you just want a scrap of wire to replace the plastic mould you were asking about. Let me know and I pop a strand in the post for you.

Sorry that I missed you there Master! Feels not bad (don't want to jinx it! ), been working away on it the last few days, well, over the weekend!
Quite tempted to start a second Cat (again, don't want to jinx it! ), see how it goes, finish this one first!

Found that it was an 'extra piece' in the kit....

Was soon fixed...

Painting the seats...first..

...and second layer..

...that annoying line/rope taken cared off, still a wee bit smoothing to do...

Gggnnnnn....*streeeetch* D*mn she's a big, but beautiful lass! My arms
were almost too short for this one, camera on the nose and arm
stretched as far as I could!

Tried a bit of weathering on them 'plates'...

The 'office' in position....

As I said....

....she's a big, beautiful lass! Only need to win the lottery now, get the
appropiate licence and get a real one! Fishing trip anyone?

One question though....

How the.....jumping Hippocroccofrogs, do you paint this 'thing', wing on or off??

I say old chap, some rapid progress there, what!
Personally, I would try to paint with the wing in place - always prefer to have all major joints taken care of first. But, no doubt Vic can advise on the most convenient method, after his experience with his monster.

One question though....

How the.....jumping Hippocroccofrogs, do you paint this 'thing', wing on or off??

Found it too big to paint in one go Jan, did the wing separate otherwise the beasty would not fit in the spray booth. It's no problem to do separate as the wing fix is relatively simple and it also makes it a little easier to move around.

Got your wire ready, just need to find an envelope, a rare thing these days even in shops.
