1/48 Trumpeter F-106

Just got this in the mail today and could not wait to get home from work to start on it. I am blown away by how nice the kit is done. Perfect detail and not killed by a ton of rivets. The fit is really great and cockpit detail is great. Only thing is maybe replacing seat with true details resin seat.

That weapons bay will look fantastic...I love all the Century series aircraft but the F-106 is a particular favourite of mine.

Small update folks . Nose gear bay and cockpit is ready for some color. Control stick seems not tall enough. When you dry fitting the stick on the tub. The control stick rest on the seat. So very easy fix razor saw, chooping block and plastic rod and whammo fixed.

Time to spice things up. So going to build a bunch of Century series fighters. Everthing from F-94-F-106. This is the new Kitty Hawk F-101. Kit equires some thinking out of the box and is not bad at all. Waiting for Eduard color photo etch to show up from Spruebros.
