Huh. Sounds like they didn't quite do enough research on E-4 as they should have. In other news my Bf109E4 fell off a table and sustained a loss of it's Right Landing Gear, Tailwheel and those fiddly bits on the underside by the ailerons. At this point I'm thinking of making it into a diorama of Franz Von Werra's crashed aircraft but I'm not sure that's allowed in the GB.

Thanks Gnomey! I've been at it again and now it's looking better. I've ordered a swastika sheet for it so that will be the last addition to this model. The paint looks good and it's not as bad as most of my other models.

Sorry about that Wurger. Still trying to find out how to get my camera to work good for closeup shots.

Your best bet for close-up shots, is to rest the camera on a sturdy surface (if no tripod is handy) and then take your shot. One thing to keep in mind, is that shooting indoors will mean slower shutter speeds, so ANY movement will blur the shot no matter how sharp the focus. Even pressing the shutter release too hard can cause blur.

A blurry one.
I almost lost my drink on that one!

Well Crimea certainly got that one right! Turns out the camera (A Sony Sybershot) has a problem with the (for lack of better term) picture button. Normally when I hold it down it focuses but now it won't focus at all. I swear every nice camera I get hates me. I'll see if I can get it fixed somehow.

I have been using the Nikon COOLPIX 5600 camera for a couple of years. No problems with that so far. Additionally I bought a SD Memo card of 1GB and rechargeable batteries of larger capacity. The camera isn't the best according to many users ( they claim it isn't too quick mostly ) but it is absolutely enough for my purposes. The macro option works quite nice. I think there should be other, newer and better cameras of the Nikon series of the similar price..

Thanks Wurger. No real progress on the 109 in a while because of all this school work. Hope to get something done this weekend.

So this time while I was working on the model my clumsy fingers dropped the canopy on the floor and while searching for it I stepped on it which cracked it. So to counteract this problem I just decided to reassemble the canopy and put some scratches and such around the areas to make it look more like the canopy had bullet holes I also added some battle damage to it. Of course this isn't accurate at all but when have my models ever been accurate?

Good stuff CB.
If you can afford to go a touch higher on the cost of a camera, then a 'bridge camera' is a good idea.
This is between a 'compact', such as the Nikon Coolpix type, and a true DSLR, and is more versatile. Most of the major camera manufacturers have at least one in their range and, in the UK, prices range from about £95 to about £160, so roughly about $140 to $235, possibly less, as cameras tend to be more expensive in the UK, in general, compared to the USA. The prices shown often include a package with a battery charger and batteries, case and memory card.
I got this Fujifilm Finepics S1000 over six years ago, at a cost of about £150 for a package, and it's been great for model and general photography, and I still carry it with my DSLRs at air shows etc.
It's a 10 mp, but has been replaced by newer versions, some of which are 14 mp or more, with at least one in the range priced at the equivalent of around $150, and has the equivalent of a 400mm zoom lens, with Macro, and Super Macro, the latter capable down to about 2 inches range.
Simple settings allow easy photography in available artificial light, or low-light conditions, even without flash, and it's very easy to use.
Hope this helps.
