352nd Fighter Group "Blue Nosed Bastards of Bodney" Build

Alright so I was not happy at all with the paint job on one wing...

So what I did was I sanded it...masked all the areas I didnt want paint off..

Then I retried. That didn't work either so it got sanded again

Last picture shows the area as it stands now and I'm pleased with it. Landing gear, canopy, prop, next.

So tried the band today...for a minute it became the Blue Bird of Bodney...

Then I tried and they came out alright...

The bottom of it will be done after there dry.

*As always pictures out of order....

So before it started to pour outside (and tornado warnings..) I decided to get the gear doors done and the propeller assembly painted.

I don't use plastic cement for this..its too messy already painted...a tiny bit of superglue does the trick..
