For too long now "Zemke's Wolfpack" has been without a proper website.
This has now been rectified with the launch of a new website dedicated to the 56th Fighter Group.
On there you will be able to find :
Interviews with 56th Fighter Group veterans.
A history of the 56th,
A complete list of missions flown,
Personnel roster for the whole group and its support units.
Over 300 ( and rising) combat reports.
Selected 56th Fighter Group publications
Photo Gallerys with many previously unseen photographs being added regularly.
Reunion photographs and much more!

The site can be found at

Cave Tonitrum!

Nice one.
In the "publications" -section I would add the definitive (also rare and expensive) book on the Thunderbolt: "Republic's P-47 Thunderbolt: From Seversky to Victory", by Warren M. Bodie

Thankyou everybody for the messages of support and encouragement.
Since the site was launched the response has been amazing.
Work is continuing loading content onto the site, infact today alone there have been over 200 photographs added,
many of which are being shown for the first time.
Due to the frequency of updates right now an RSS feed isn't practical but it is certainly something that we will be looking into setting up.
Please subscribe to the mailing list for now though to ensure you don't miss anything and also to find out more information
about what you can expect to see on the site in the future.
Once again, many thanks for the support!

Recent additions to the site include a scan of Donavon Smiths logbook and personal photo album, ( over 300 photos), renuion photos, then and now, new Timeless voices interviews, memorial photos.
There are now photo albums for each squadrons pilots. Only 11 photographs short of a full set of over 500 pilots.
More content is being added all the time,,so much so that I can't get it on the site as quick as it comes in sometime!
