This is my latest box art work for the Pilot-Replicas 1/48 Douglas A-1E 'Sandy' Skyraider kit in development, depicted on a low level mission over Vietnam, with a HH-3 following close by.
The client requested no under-wing weapons for the box art work.
I am particularly happy with the background/landscape and sky in this work - I love the challenge of painting a good skyscape!
