Agree Terry, though they come up on E-bay now and again (including the above mentioned 'Spiritfire's
)Joy of joys! Revell are releasing a 1:72 Spitfire Mk.IIa In March 2017, which looks bloody nicely done in photos I've seen (Scale Aviation Magazine, December 2016). They do mention it is a test shot they received, so final moulds may be altered yet.
Looks like a vast improvement over the current best so far though, complete with full cockpit details and lovely fine panel lines (Airfix's trench panel lines and deep rivet holes being the major thorn in the side of their new kits...). Please God this will be as accurate as it looks, so I can make an accurate Mk.II, aswell as convert one to make an accurate Mk.Ia!!

Is there a page somewhere, other than Wiki, that lists the chronology of the various models of Spitfires's? Meaning a page that is accurate? No two of the ones I have found seem to agree.
