I managed to hobble down to the Rememberance Service at my small town's Cenotaph today.
The size of the crowd was gratifying, and the silence at 11:00 hours was total.
Sadly, as can be expected, the number of WW2 veterans has dwindled, but many were on parade, along with those from later campaigns, supported by Cadet Forces and reserve units.

Great pics mate... always seems to be much more heart in small town memorials than the big city versions. Correct right handed salute...
