Yes. Now I am done. Straight OOB build. Only scratch built additions were the following:
* Direction finder loop antenna
* Vertical HF Aerial
* HF antenna
* Pitot probe
* 20mm wing cannons
* Exhast ports drilled out
* 7.92mm machinegun ports in cowling drilled out
I took much to heart from those who gave comments. Much thanks to all. Especially Wayne and Micdrow. There are numerous mistakes, but overall I like the outcome for a 9-to-11 total piece model. I think it illustrates that you don't have to spend huge sums of money to get a nice bird for your collection.
My research brought many new things to my attention. First, that the prop markings were mostly yellow-orange stripes, not white. BUT... there actually were props that had no markings and some DID have writing on them (though only small markings that were undiscernable to me). Second, not all aircraft in a Kokutai had similar vertical stabilizer markings. In my case, the yellow stripe (missing from my Zeke). Finally, my tail markings are too low. Thanks Wayne for bringing this to my attention. Unfortunately I had progressed to far and was unwilling to correct my mistakes in keeping with my short build criteria and wanting to maintain my "no-airbrush" policy that cramped my ability to make corrections without affecting my upper dark green wear pattern.
Thanks again to all whom contributed to my research. I hope this inspires others to purchase the "cheaper" kits. Sometimes there is a quite a bit of satisfaction even from the crude models.
