Great armour models, and it just shows how far 1/72nd scale tank kits have come, since I last built an Airfix 1/76th scale Sherman, back in ... well, some time ago, anyway!
 
Geo, it's from the same FG (361st) as the aircraft in the famous photo of 'The Bottisham Four' which has caused much ridiculous comment over the decades.
I'm hoping to get to the Bottisham Airfield Museum Group open day this coming Sunday, with Gary (GeeDee). At the period when the full yellow nose markings were introduced, the Group had moved the short distance from Bottisham, to Little Walden.
