"Friction Dampers"Yup! That was Alpha's version of a shock absorber in the 1930s.
Tightening or loosening those nuts allowed the damping to be adjusted.Thanks for the input guys. Little progress today, managed to get the front end dampers sorted, tricky business fiddling with these little nuts.

Make sure the spring dampers are adjusted correctly otherwise your cornerweights might be askew.Thanks for checking in chaps. Stage one is done with the chassis complete.
