Another newbie

I just joined the forum yesterday--actually really early this morning. I am an old guy who has been interested in WW2 in general and aviation in particular for decades. Just retired as a history teacher at a small college. Am starting to do research for what will hopefully be an alternative history novel that will feature a lot of WW2 aviation action. I am especially interested in the less common fighters: eg, Westland Whirlwind, Brewster Buffalo, Curtis-Wright Demon &etc
