Sure that's Aussie? Looking at the Drive Safe ads and the health ads we have that are very full on, it doesn't seem like an Aussie ad.

Comedy? The main Child Abuse ad I know of thats regulary screened is extremely haunting.
Like Crunch said our ads for Road safety and other community announcements are always very serious.

Well, on the site I took it from, the ad was advertised as being from Australia... But we all know that info found on the net is far from being 100% reliable. So I could be wrong.

Well kids, I got married that year.
I remember the add vividly Andy. The "voice" was John Stanton.
I also remember attending a lecture in 1982 by a Haematologist talking about STD diseases. When he got to HIV we all looked blank. He laughed and said "you know, poofters disease!" Well, it wasn't long after that when a pregnant woman was diagnosed with HIV (as a result a blood transfusion) and it was no longer a laughing matter.
