Captured Jack

[Migrant]

I built this about 3 years ago, Hasegawa's 1/48 Mitsubishi J2M3 'Jack' in captured USAF markings. (I'm not really sure why but to my eye it somehow looks 'right' with US stars-and-bars). Finished with Alclad and my own decals, otherwise out-of-box. It's a lovey kit to build.

J2M looked strange to the Japanese pilots first.
The Raiden pilots joked the cockpit is so wide that they can sit there in a circle to launch party.

It does look good in US markings. Nicely done. Strange resemblence to a Republic airplane I once knew.....
