I'm not sure Renrich. I know in 2005 a Cavanaugh owned Corsair struck a Bearcat, but I don't know if this is the same plane.

Doubt it... it looks to be an F4U-1C, with the 3-blade prop and patterned cowl flaps.
I suspect down-grading an F4U-4 to an F4U-1 would take too much time and effort.

Cavanaugh's website lists it as an FG-1D, and while the Corsair is far and away my favorite plane, I'm no expert of the different versions.
