Well, they didn't really miss the sink mark, it was going to happen anyway, there is a long reinforcing rib that runs the length of the wing on the underside, any point that has this type of feature will almost always result in a slight sink mark, as the plastic cools and shrinks it pulls in more at the slightly thicker intersections of plastic. You can pack in more material or run the tool slightly slower or longer before ejecting to reduce the possibility of the sink, but sometimes these things can create other issues...
Anyway back to modelling...chipping away and got the lower fuselage wing support section done, prepped the earlier smaller wheel used on G-2's from an 'F' kit and started on the Instrument panel, painted this one up rather than cut out each individual dial as I usually do. Also parts in place on cockpit fuselage sides and painting process on the go....
