Dunno Terry and I agree that this probably escaped the notice of many modelers of this rig as I have not read about this in any of the reviews I looked up before I started. Any pic don't lie (at least before Photoshop!) and this is what clinched it for me:

The wells have now been fished through the small openings and glued onto the side of each fuselage half. The instructions call for 20 grams of weight in the nose so I went with 30. Hope the nose gear is strong! You can see the remnants of my reminder written on the inside of the fuselage.

Been busy with visitors. Had a great day on the slopes yesterday and today I can hardly move. I'm getting too old for mogul-bashing! Off now til Tuesday so you should see a lot more in the next few days.
 
Well, today I feel like I have arthritis!

Anyhoo, let's see what we've got to show. How about we start with the overall fuselage now glued together:

The front of the fuselage is finished off with this bulkhead that receives the cockpit section:

Never satisfied with empty space where something should exist, I added another electrical box made of plastic card. The two conduits are plastic rod and are added with a bit of artistic license.

On the underside of the fuselage, the recess for the 1000kg bomb fit very nicely into the opening provided. Minimal filling will be required here.

..although just behind it, the seam and sink holes will need a bit of work. The clear piece which Hasegawa provides for the camera windows (non-existent on this particular plane) has been added and this will also need to be blended into the surrounding plastic.

I also decided to work to finish off the flaps. Because of the way I chose to do these, there is a misalignment between the upper and lower halves for the outer flaps that needs to be attended to.

I filled in the overlap with lengths of stretched sprue. The beginning of this can be seen here, just before a second strip was added.

Tomorrow, I'll smooth these areas out by sanding and filling any holes. That's it for today and thanks for your continued interest.
