It's now later tonight and work around the cockpit continues with wire bundles added as well as cables attached to the battery. The wire bundles are speaker wire and the straps are aluminum foil tape. The fuselage side is temporarily taped on for this photo and for measuring out another bundle that needs to go from the boxes to the right of the pilot to those behind the seat. The white shading near the frames is some wet sanding residue that I failed to clean off for this pic.

Here's a pic of the battery harnesses. These were made of solder which I was able to flatten on the ends and poke holes in with a needle to resemble the post clamps. I was pleasantly surprised how well this turned out and at how easy it was.

The plain wall to the left of the pilot had to be dressed up with a scratch built map case made of plain paper (the strap is a left over PE piece from my Eduard Dora) and with a simple cabin light and wire leads. This area received a dark wash (still drying when this pic was taken) and the framing was highlighted with a lighter shade of gray.

And now the left canopy half is temporarily taped to the fuselage showing how everything fits at this stage.

Thanks for your continued interest chaps.

Beaut work there Andy, looks very convincing. Would there be some sort of clamp to hold the battery in place, either over the battery, or a grip around the lower ridge of the battery case? Just a thought - got a thing about batteries being secure, due to ending up upside down when off-roading!
