Well, boys, I really screwed the pooch on this one.
I was test fitting the front windshield and filing carefully, (Really!) and it looked like it would pop in.
I was wrong.
I didn't push on it hard or anything, and it just went CRACK!, SNAP!
I have never had this happen before. I guess I'll have to write Roden and see if they will send me a new one.
Scratch the Staggerwing from the G.B., I don't think it will get here on time.

That sux Paul. I've busted 3 clear parts myself with surprisingly little force. Stuff is brittle as hell and I've learned to be careful handling it. Hope Roden sends you another as it doesn't look like a scratch build job.

For the information of all concerned, a new canopy/windscreen was shipped from Gardena, CA this afternoon. Paul should have it by the 12th.... plenty of time to finish the Staggerwing.
