Ah-ha, wet mud over the dried stuff.
Thank you all for your enthusiasm with the mud and stuff. I am generally pleased with this representation of a weathered aircraft.
(Told you all I could do it!)

 
Yeah, I know,
Everybody likes dirt.
I, personally, like nice new aircraft. Or well maintained ones.
There are occasions where a bit of weathering is in order; the best maintained Japanese aircraft just had the national insignia re-painted.
The Germans were a bit more involved, what with 82 and 83 by the end of the war.
The U.S. was changing insignia too much, and the Brits,.... Well they were painting everything that wasn't standing still.
In "A" or "B", of course.
