Some slow progress, more reinforcing strips cut and fitted to the starboard wing and lower port wing too...also filled and sanded the bomb rack holes

Very interesting subject! I wasn't aware the RAF used this type up to '43.
I always liked the Westland Whirlwind. One of the sleeker looking twin fighters...
Will follow this build with great intrest!

Ok balance of the reinforcing strips done on the lower surface, a shot showing them all and my extremely hi-tech, finely balanced spacer tool.....:D

Thanks guys.

Have now drilled out the lower points for wing lights outboard of the engine nacelles and glued in 2 clear lights from 2 of my spitfire kits, these areas were simply not dealt with as lights, simply round access panels in the plastic.

Lights protruded slightly, have been sanded flush and still to be polished....
