Thanks very much chaps, the compliments are appreciated.
Going to have a break for a day or so, as I have a painting to finish and not much time left in which to do it, but I'll probably get some small bits and pieces done in between sessions at the easel.

Harriers in Belize, for a friend. Oils on canvas, and still a lot to do !

Thanks very much chaps, it's appreciated.
I've spent most of the afternoon at the easel, trying to correct the port rocket pod, and adding surface detail to the fuselage of the main Harrier, but I might get some work done on the Heinkel tonight.

Thanks Glenn and Wayne.

Got a little bit done between easel sessions, with the exhausts ready to fit, and the undercart almost complete.

PIC 1. I used the kit exhausts after all, having first drilled out the ends. On the left is the exhaust as supplied, and after drilling at right.
PIC 2. Painted and ready to attach.
PIC 3. The port main gear assembly, with brake lines added from lead wire. This had to be done in stages, for each leg, before painting and assembling, as the brake lines run down the main legs, and along the 'X' shaped cross-braces. Both port and starboard assemblies have to be fitted into the wheel bays, before then attaching the main braces and retraction struts, which will be done next.

Back soon with another underwhelming up-date ......................
