Wayne I tried what I think is your spray technique with mixed results for me patience and the right viscosity on the paint seems critical but mine seemed to blotchy.The build is looking quite nice as usual

Patience, right mix and pressure, all key factors, building up the mottle effect takes time, but turns out pretty good in the end.

The rest of the pastel was done but forgot to take the pics for the upper surface....

, anyway onto the next stage and gloss coat is applied now....
