I'll have to order the tail skid from Squadron to get this right. It most likely won't be here in time so I'll have to present the kit with outt he tail skid. Here is it's present state.

 
Done except for replacement skid which I requested from Squadron Signal but I've not heard anything as yet. The kit is not bad but there are some discrepancies which were found from documentation and Hobby Boss could have used some better review on these. I would have done better to have had some better documentation on the subject as well.

 
An excellent build and great craftsmanship. The I.A.R. 80,81 have been a favorite for several years and when I discovered the I.A.R. 37,38,39 series, that led me back to the 80,81 but now there is much more info and the kit. I still plan to build a controlline model at 1" to 1' using the plan in the sams pub. Again, a really great job on a seldom seen subject.
