A little bit of green and a little bit of brown!

Movinging along. I am soaking a flat tooth pick to see if I can put a bend on it for the tail skid. I used a piece of .25 and .20 steel rod to make the front and rear stations for the skid, we'll see if this works. Most of the paint work is done, need a couple of items to go, (tires and hubs, pitot and radio mast and canopy). clear coat and decals.

Ok, so I soaked a flat tooth pick for a few days in water and then taped it to a curved file and left it set for a few more.

and then I trimmed it to size and super glued it to my piano wire struts.

and here is what we have after. It is a bit over sized but I'm willing to take the hit on that.
