Alrighty then, I have used Dremel, razor saw, Tamiya PE saw and a #11 blade. you have to cut out the upper wing, wing fold actuator doors (I don't know what they are called), as well as the wing inner and outer sections. You don't need the kit outer wing so err on the outer side. I really like the PE saw but I put to much pressure on it and that was that. I bent it as in a plane crash. Razor saw is a bit too wide but stiff enough and the dremel is too messy for the plastic for my taste, even on the lowest setting.

So anyway here is a test fit.

Yeah Andy your correct. Until I did the first cut and then dry fit I could not really see and understand what the instructions were trying to tell me. You have to cut out the small, (for lack of a better term), actuator doors as well (see the red circles).

I used the PE saw, which is perfect for this but it has to go slow and easy or you risk crumpling up the saw. Just follow the panel lines and then I needed to score the end of the door with #11 blade.

I could not get it to work without crumpling in the handle so I just did it in my hand.
The fit is pretty good now.

Probably thin down the inner surfaces of the wings, and ensure all the protruding parts of the additional wing-fold set have clearance, perhaps by cutting / drilling recesses for them.

Thanks Terry, I had thought about that, but I found that, If you can understand the instructions, (I'm not good at reading pictures by themselves), then it all falls into place. I just had to cut a bit more and file my cuts clean.
