I have now had time to mate the fuselage with the wings, which was completed with no fuss whatsoever. The rudder and tail planes have been added, and i have started to assemble the engine block. It is proving to be quite an enjoyable build so far but the white plastic does have a negative visual effect during the build. I probably should have primed it all before i started, which may have helped in this respect. I also tracked down an Image of pilot and plane via Google.WWWEB.

Small update...

All was going well until I started to fit the engine cowlings, see pictures. The lower half of the cowling is very thick. This is the fit i get after sanding away at it it for about an hour.

Its only taped in place in the photo, and i did more sanding before refitting, gluing and filling the joints. Once the filler has cured by tonight i will commence sanding again!

Its is now starting to look like a Corsair!
