Here it is after three coats of Future. Its good enough to seal for the panel line wash and apply the decals but I really miss the old formula Future which would have looked like glass after three coats. Probably two.

Yep, it's a shame the 'old' Future has gone - been a few years here in the UK, and I have yet to find anything that works as well. Even the Humbrol clear gloss acrylic, although fairly good, doesn't give as glossy a coat.

I had a half full bottle of the old stuff left a couple of years ago when I had to pack up my model area to fix some water damage. couldn't find it when I put everything back together. Maybe its still packed away in a box somewhere and will turn up someday.

Spent a few hours putting decals on today. All the stripes and the decals on the port side Will do the starboard side decals tomorrow.
I've got to say, I relay hate stripe decals.

They sure were George. A about gave up on them multiple times
Nice work Glenn, the stripes were a pain on my F-16 too !
