Thanks all, Here is the progress update.
With the wings on I had a lip at the back that I had to file and sand down.
Got the outter wings and engines done, got the SAC metal landing gear in.
and engines mounted.
The leading edge of the wing over the fuselage is supposed to be a smooth flow and not a lip.
So I used some rod, two different sizes to help level it out. after it drys I'll try to used a bit of card stock to do the final. Trying to stay away from the putty. Well see how it goes.
Works like the old Testors paint pens with a wick that you push up till the fluid flows on it and then Vahla, you put it where you need it. It comes in a couple of sizes 4mm and 2mm, this is the smaller and it is refillable!
I just got mine last month from King's hobbies in Austin when I got my Tamiya P-38. First time I had ever heard of such a thing and when Geo said he wanted to see it, well I just opened it and used it for the first time.
