Really Andy, I like the Tamiya, I think it's thinner and sets down better. Mr. Surfacer 500 worked but I had to go back a do touch ups.

If it comes with decal stripes I usually measure those first unless you're doing a misfit, which I fell for once. The stripes weren't standard width

No decals, I used the width of the invasion strips as the starting point!
