good thing is i can paint the fin separately and attach it later to help make the masking easier !

right then a start has been made
the mighty fin and horizontal stabs put together
cockpit painted and assembled, though i notice i still have to add the control columns in both cockpits
not 100% accurate but good enough for me once under the canopies.
boxed in and painted the main gear bays
next up the rather complicated system to allow the wings to swing, though i'll probably end up gluing them in the swept position to save shelf space.

Good stuff but why glue the wings in the swept position when you can just swing them there anyway?

not sure they'll work correctly and rather be safe and glue them in so a wing doesn't come off if a pin fails !

thanks Gents.
tried adding the horizontal stabs as per the instruction to allow them to move but no dice, just hung there like limp lettuce leaves !
they have been glued in place and have also noticed when the wings are swung they ride up off the pivot points so i will glue them in place before i add the upper half of the fuselage.

ok bit more to show
tails attached
upper half of fuselage in place
added the forward fuselage and side intakes
rear fuselage, jet nozzles are just sat in place, not glued in so i can paint then separately
