Neutral grey applied, maybe I should have added a bit of yellow, it seems a little too "cold" (too blue)

OD applied. Only the white to apply and the work of painting will be done. I think there wasn't green blotches on my project; these green blotches appeared at the Curtiss factory from Spring or mid 1942. My project was manufactured from 1941 (probable P-40F-15-CU SN41-19???) left from factory in December 1942 and apparently delivered to 44FS sometime between March and May 1943.
Maybe ground crews painted these blotches (or maybe these blotches were painted at the factory during the year 1942) but we can't see them on the few photos showing P-40Fs belonging to 44th FS.
