It's important to the happiness of the world that you are happy Mr. Bill! For if you're happy, Andy will be happy that you're happy and so on and so forth, well save for Geo, not sure he could be happy but everyone else. Oh and BYW, pretty pit, I'm happy!

Bit of a set back..................... but First..................
Check, before assembly........... ALL parts should be Installed before Assembly!
Missed the landing light! So used to the light in the well of the "D" models!! OW!
Second and most time consuming setback............................... check Fits before assembly.
Turns out the top rockets came in contact with Flaps when down. So I had to Remove the top ones on the racks.
Cut off all the little stand offs and move them up a notch. Then noticed on one of the loading pictures, it's the case.
Dang, it goes on and on.

That's unfortunate after all that work Bill but sounds like you will "Sailor On" as usual. The results will be fabulous.

Ain't that the truth? Looking good though.
IMHO it has happened because you might have omitted that the top rocket is moved farther forward than the bottom one. Also both missiles were racked in the way that their tail ends were where the railway back edge ended. Additinally, the back clamp of the missile was just in front of the tail section. So ... judging by the pics you posted above all you should do, is to move the rockets more forward only.

Okay Wotjek, here we go. Must admit after my "adjustments" and your photos I was..........!
So I took the photos, reduce to scale, shot a picture of mine, I am a couple of mm off and
I took too much off the tail of the rail, no pun intended. That will stay the same I am afraid.
The top rocket is too far forward, 2/3mm! Not gonna do That again.
Looks like I got the rail about 5mm too long, That will go today! It's finally within tolerances
for an 80 year old who knows nothing about warbirds.

A big gob of white glue in the hole. Stabbed the light with my scalpel, slowly into place............. wiped my forehead. It worked and lesson learned.

Well it's painting time....................
Did the Sky stripe and spinner. Wheel wells and tail wheel well.
I had already done prop blades, so assembled the prop.
I do like the coverage of the Aussie SMS Sky and Zinc Chromate lacquer paints!!!!
Used Tamiya rattle can white primer for the Sky. AC straight outta the bottle. Black and yellow Tam rattle can.
