So here I am, a Little bit of shaping............... riiiiight.
My handy dandy acrylic block with 85 grit paper attached with spray on contact cement works a treat.
On the block is the blank which is sized and shaped for the wing underside. I have shortened it lenghtwise
and by height to be more like Wojtek's drawing. What would we do without his knowledge and observations?
To the right of the sanding block is the Port side pylon, roughly tapered like the original pylons. I will start
rounding the bottom and corners. I pre-drilled the blocks before shaping, no way I could get them drilled
squared to the mounting surfaces After tapering. I'm pretty happy with the progress. Doesn't take long
with 85 grit sanding. I'll get the other tapered tonight, it is only 5pm. Cheers.
