Thanks all. Prepping for paint. Gonna lighten up the YZC a tad with grey. For the blue I have these two options. These are the closest when I hold the bottle up to the screen. XF50 is a tad lighter with a greyish tinge
Thanks all. To install the stall strip on the leading edge of the right wing one has to cut a notch out (A). There is not stop line so you have to estimate how far to cut and then cut across to finish. Too far and you have a gap behind the strip that will need to be filled. Nailed it
Didn't know what a stall strip was until I saw this. The other day I was cleaning up the wing glue joint on my Hasagawa AU-1 and almost filed it off. Good thing I didn't.
Still prcastinatingspraying, finding little bits to add. Adding gear covers and flaps as they will be all painted YZC and scraping off the paint for gluing will be a pain in the keester. As can be seen, I've entfernenned one piece off the rear gear door and it is now glue in place and resting comfortably
