A crap load of masking for a wee bit of paint. I'm kinda going at this backwards to ease painting. Tomorrow I'm painting the nose, upper cowl stripe and spinner red. When done I'm going to paint the black stripes of the invasion markings. These markings go higher up the fuselage than was the norm. Then I'm painting the olive drab glare panel. When all is dry, I can mask it off and spritz the silver. I might take a bit more paint but I feel this is the easiest way for me

Thanks Vic. Black invasion stripes painted. These stripes go up to a panel line so I photo copied the kit invasion decals, measured 5.3mm from the tail assembly panel line, cut out the decal photo copy and tape it just above the fuselage panel line to make sure I didn't short myself.....again. Then I laid out thing strips of tape, starting on the cut-out piece of the decal sheet and going around to the other side and ending on that cut-out piece. Not as easy as I thought it would be as there are a lot of bends. In the end, even though there was a few puckers in the tape I shot from behind the puckers to avoid bleed under. Worked out well methinks

I'll let this set and work on the nose, glare panel tomorrow.
