German Luftfahrtpolizei Polizeifliegerei 4./Fl Es. z.b.v 7 Fi156

The Fi156 was equipped with 50 Kg bombs against Partizans

The police aviation consisted of (air) police aircraft and aircraft of the Reich Air Surveillance Service (RLAD), which was under the authority of the Reich Air Force Ministry. Quite possible that aviation-trained police officers were commanded or transferred to the RLAD. There were otherwise some points of contact between the RLM and the police, since Göring was chief of the Prussian police and, as is generally known, RLM and Luftwaffe superior makers in various ranks. Everything that flew belonged to Göring.
Information on the Fl.Geschwader zbV 7 can be found in the Federal Archives of Freiburg under the signature M 261/A4 (Setting RFSS for gang control from 25. September 1944). Another assistance is flight book copies of the flying staff of the squadron.
