Well alrighty then,

Well have fun, fun, fun now that daddy took the T-bird away!

So the engine nechells gave a little bit of a fit, here is the progress report.

After working the gaps at the back I had gaps at the wing yo nechell mating point.

So I had to work them down as much as possible and then fill in the rest. I tried Tamiya grey putty but the with works better for this.

Let it dry overnight and then used fingernail polish remover and a cotton swab to remove excess.

Helps clean up thumb prints from glue over runs also, who knew.

Then I went to work on the front end.

and a little clean up on the tail

I think it is coming along nicely.

Glad you got the nacelles sorted Don. Maybe there was a location problem initially, causing the gaps etc ?

Good fix Don. To save you a bit of sanding time run some blue painters tape on either side of the gap, about 1-3mm. This way you can force the mud into the gap(I use a flat tooth-pick to spread the mud) and not have mud all over. Before you remove the tape and the mud is still fresh, remove the excess mud using a Q-tip dampened with nail polish remover. Test your mud first. I use red Bondo Glazing and Spot Putty and it works like a charm

I've been trying to find a picture of the behind the instrument panel. It's not too late to try and run some wiring I think. I found my wire so if I can find something to work with soon I might try running some. Sergio's book are good but don't cover this area. The only Do17Z was dredged up from the bottom of the channel so not much help there. If anyone can find something I would appreciate it.

Same here. Found some pics looking up through the nose glazing, but everything inside was in shadow, so no details can be seen. Just wing it, and lead some wiring off to the port wall.

Super Thanks guys, Same thing I found but not sure weather to split wiring to Port and Starboard but will look to the port. Maybe drink some to, mmmmhh nice idea.

Well I need to do some redue. I think anyway. I ordered the Eduard set. Not sure I'll use much but I want to fix the instrument panel and needed seat belts. Also ordered the PE saw blades from Kirby's (Turbo's) Folgor build, good lord that's a beautiful build.
