Man, I love those Tamiya 47s! Bother looking good, Don. Scratch building a gun bay can be a blast. One the few I have done, I only use the "body" of the guns in the bay and keep the molded in barrels.

Thanks Terry, this is just fitting test. The barrels will be cut to length with the kit tubes being used.Looking good.
However, note that the gun barrels on the P-47 were enclosed in smooth, stainless steel 'blast tubes', with the actual gun muzzles set back within the tubes.
