Third bunk down on the left...and looks like a bunch of butts on the deck there.

Margaret Bourke-White, one of LIFE magazine's original four staff photographers, was America's first accredited woman photographer during WWII, and the first authorized to fly on a combat mission.

Another Life photographer,when challenged by an editor as to why Bourke White managed to gain access to stories and situations which he could not famously replied that Bourke White had "equipment which I don't possess".
It's clearly on view in that photograph!
