The last photo above shows Nancy Harkness Love in front of a B-25. We all (incl. myself) have posted photos of her in this thread. Here is another one I don't remember being shown yet, in front of a B-25 and with the following explanation: "She was the first woman in U.S. military history to fly the B-25, flying it coast-to-coast in record time." :salute:

The letter code 41R stands for the 41-st Reconnaissance Squadron (Heavy), Langley Field, Hampton, Virginia. I already posted another photo with many girls in this thread:

After modification, it was assigned to the 20th Troop Carrier Squadron, 6-th Air Force Service Command, based at Albrook Field in December 1943.
