I've been having a blast with my new 50-200 and it's been on my Pentax since I got it, haven't needed to swap a lens for a shot so far!
The weather cleared up some last Sunday, so we went up and flew down to Red Bluff for lunch and then headed back up the valley for a bit. It was freakin' cold and turbulant over 15, but any time you can break the bonds of earth, it's worth it as far as I'm concerned
IMG 1: Mount Shasta to the north, our alt. was about 3 thousand.
IMG 2: Mount Lassen to the east with Redding in the foreground (That's the Sacramento River that runs through town) our alt. was about 26 hundred.
IMG 3: Sunrise on Shasta Bally (taken from work). Those are antennas on the peak coated in ram ice. Shasta Bally is west of town, overlooking Whiskeytown Lake (it's elevation is about 6,000 feet).
