cats, I myself am also an R/C flyer, although not at the level of that kit.... My last Warbird was a P-39Q, .46 size, and ended up disintergrating....

Can I ask about the pink P40. I saw this museaum on holiday a couple of years ago and wondered about the colour then, is it anything like an original colour? I know pink was used on RAF PR aircraft but it wasn't nearly as garish as this and P40's were not used by the RAF in specialist PR squadrons.

Sorry I'm so late getting back to you on this, I've been busy with alot of things and not been able to spend as much time on the computer as I would like. Anyway, from my understanding, the pink is from the red pigment they used in the desert brown camo and when the sun faded the paint, it actually turned a pinkish color. the owner of the plane is Sue Parrish who was a wasp pilot. she also has a t-34 that is pink. I think she likes the color.
