Here's a couple of photo's from the 2008 ohio huckfest. The first here is of one of the greats in the hobby, Mr. Andrew Jesky playing in the bean field. The second is a example of the fine smoke systems that are being developed today. 8) It does make it difficult to see sometimes.

How much fun does this look like. Sorry for the blurryness but I am having some serious problems with my lense faulting out my camera. If I go fully manuel it works fine but any auto feature and 7 out of 10 times it faults my camera. I'm assuming it's the lense since when I install my 50 mm the problem goes away.

my guess is that he was on the opposite side of the runway over the grass which is lower than the runway giving it the look that he lower than what he really is. That is John More flying his stearman at the Battle Creek airshow.

We had a local Texan group do an evening flight routine with some pyro and I got some sunset shots that I thought you guys might enjoy. It was a great little event. I really enjoy the small ones cause you can usually get closer to the flight line. Even though I can't use my full zoom I still got some nice shots.

Thanks guys. Here's a few more that I thought had a cool cloud formation in the background. Unfortunatly the corsair that was there had some pump failure and couldn't fly that evening. I was really bummed about that. He flew the evening before in a rain shower and really beat up the field but I didn't have my camera that night. It's one of the better performances I've seen in a corsair and it was dark and raining. Loved it. I'm beginning to think that the small events are the ones to go to.
