Special Forces never give up. You are my hero this month, Airframes. I'm willing to bet the result will be worth the effort amongst us modeller blokes.

I had considered the sander, but I think one of those bl**dy big things they use to scrape and grade road surfaces might be a better option! One problem though, the alien material this kit is made from could wear out the machine.....
 
It has been very close! Amazing what a couple of pints of decent ale can achieve. (OK, quite a few pints !!).
I'm hoping to get some more done tomorrow - I want to ensure that Milliput is rock hard before I start the fine sanding.
 
In the latest pics box! Nothing to show yet old chap; I'll post some pics when it's all nice and smooth as a baby's bum, and the empennage is in place.
